Where should I go from here…

Alice asking the Cheshire catI am gradually returning to my regular routine after my 3 month off-and-on screen sabbatical.  Although I still have occasional mild headaches, my neurosurgeon has suggested that I could slowly increase my activity and as long as symptoms don’t get worse, return to hockey and my regular work.  I continue to avoid screens when convenient, but I have returned to work full-time and am gradually catching up on my blog reading and blog posting.

Which has me wondering about my own blog.  My stats are very low, even after returning.  I wish I had asked somebody to fill in my stead in order to keep my few readers from wandering away.  I know blog readership is hard to maintain – if you fall below their radar, you may never come back.

I typically try to post a thoughtful and moderately long posting every week.  I have attempted to use Scoop. It to fill in some gaps, but it is hard to get to and Scoop. It often falls below my radar.  So with the radar metaphor in mind, perhaps I will attempt to post shorter posts of ideas and thoughts (“thought-lets”?) that occur to me throughout my work day.  I don’t have a “smart” phone, so it won’t be via mobile technology, but I think it could help bridge the longer pieces and keep this blog on your radars.

OK, so this hasn’t worked out as well as I had hoped.
